OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Love All-Serve All is the guiding principle of SAI Global Federation of Foundations. Accordingly, the Foundation works together to meet the most pressing needs in the local areas as well as across global frontiers. Recognising that love for all creation is the unifying, guiding and driving force behind everything and believing that love is best expressed as service, when it arises from the source of a deep bond of a global family, rising above all differences, is the core value of the Foundation.
In the words of our Leaders

This love in action is selfless service. When your heart melts seeing the suffering of the people you develop compassion and love, this makes you engage in service. The cycle is ever expanding, the love deepens, the call of a service becomes more compelling. SGFF exists to serve our planet and all our inhabitants selflessly as one family.

The Indian idea of – vasudhaiva kuṭumbakam – one world, one family, where each lives for the other and all live for God, is the only permanent solution to avert the impending global humanitarian crisis. This idea is at work in our Foundations across the globe, which are a part of the Sai Global Federation of Foundations. The idea of kindness and compassion is the spirit of One World One Family. The global mission is to unite all mankind into one family on the basis of love, which expresses itself as selfless service. In our contemporary times, miracles of science and technology have made all nations next door neighbours. Promoting mutual respect and harmony among peoples of all nations is the need of the hour. Only this can ensure that mindless competition and rivalry will not endanger the existence of human species on this wonderful ‘Spaceship’, our beautiful Mother Earth.

Life wants us to find out every day, the purpose of our lives. The first question that every morning we have to ask ourselves, is what is our purpose and that becomes the question of our life, everyday. Confronting that question is really the beginning of a new life. Everyday announces a new arrival which just had merged into an old ending. Understanding our purpose, discovering and re-discovering, inventing and reinventing our purpose really commences the thrill of the day. Decommercialise and remove economics from the equation of love and treat everybody as our own, I think is the highest philosophy to embrace the entire world as one.

Nelson Mandela once said, “Our human compassion binds us, the one to the other - not in pity or patronisingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future.” “We are all in this life together, and every
act of love moulds us into delightful beings. Selfless love is truly being felt throughout the world today, through all the wonderful humanitarian projects. As I participate in this global work where selfless service is being perpetuated through love,
respect, and compassion for all life, an attitude of oneness between people of all creeds, all countries, and all continents is seen increasingly, which is truly humbling. The message of oneness is shining forth in every activity, glimpses of which are
presented in this site.
